Dr. Hauser has been practicing general, child, and adolescent psychiatry in Austin, Texas since 1991. She specializes in diagnostic evaluation and treatment of depression, anxiety disorders, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder(ADHD), child, adolescent and women’s issues. She accepts a limited number of ongoing therapy patients. Since psychiatric issues are often inherited, Dr. Hauser is a family psychiatrist who is experienced in providing care individually to all members of the family.

Dr. Hauser is a mindfulness practitioner with an interest in introducing mind-body medicine techniques to her patients so that they may further their own wellness. She founded MBCTAustin to offer the first Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy course in Austin to adults with chronic anxiety and depression.
